Officially announced for the King 2, will be released next year

For the King, the "strategic role-playing game with Rogue-Like elements" has been able to build up a certain fan base since its publication in April 2018. Of the almost 20,000 user ratings on Steam, 88 percent are positive, and players primarily praise the fun co-op gameplay and the interesting tabletop elements.

If you also spent a lot of time with the title and had a lot of fun here, there are now good news: As developer studio Ironoak Games recently announced, a successor to the popular game, called for the King 2, will be in 2023 Steam published. This time, players have to join together to prevent the rule of a tyrannical queen.

Just like in the first part of the series, players will also roam randomly generated cards in for the King (now buy now), complete different quests and events, and of course refrain from prey. The game will probably include a very large variety of opponents and some dungeons. For the King 2, also relies on the round-based combat system, which made the first part so popular. The rogue-like elements mentioned are shown in the form of certain upgrades that players can unlock at the end of a run. These can then be used in future game runs.

For the King 2, like its predecessor, is designed for Koop, and offers both local and online multiplayers for up to four players. However, the title can also be easily played solo. Publisher Curve Games has already published a first trailer for the game, which, among other things, presents a few of the new scenes.

If you have never heard of for the King before this announcement, but have become curious now, then take a look at the steam side of the game. A discount campaign is currently running there, in which the price of the game was reduced by a full 70 percent. The campaign runs until June 2, 2022, so you have enough time to think carefully about the purchase decision.
