Since the launch towards the end of September, there is hardly any day, where there are no negative headlines for online role-playing New World (from 39.99 € pre-order). So again: The developer studio was again forced to temporarily disable the entire trade including the Tale transfers.
Trigger for this is a new Item Dupe, which had emerged last weekend and has been causing some trouble and displeasure. With the help of a trick, it was also possible to be able to duplicate objects at Housing. These have exploited numerous players, for example, to duplicate the coveted Loot Luck Trophies and offer them to dumping prices in the trading post — with serious consequences for the already struck economic system of New World.
At Amazon Game Studios you are just about finding a solution for this exploit. Until this is found, the trade remains deactivated. In the official explanation it says: Hello everybody, we are aware of a possible duplication exploit, which was spread in the forums and social media. While we examine exploit, we temporarily disabled all forms of asset transfers between players (e.g., sending currencies, guild funds, trading items, player-to-players trading). Each player involved in the use of these exploits will be punished accordingly.
Once the duplication exploit was examined, and we are ready to re-enable the asset transfer, we will update this post.
Thanks for your understanding.
